What can I do if a document is stuck in Pending? (Scan2x Web Environments)

 

 

If documents in the Scan2x Web Pending Queue are stuck as Pending, the administrator would need to check if the if the folder C:\Scan2xOnlineProcs is empty. If this folder is empty. then the external processors need to be re-installed.

 

In order to do this, kindly follow the steps below:

Open Scan2x 64bit application as an Administrator

Click on the Check for Updates button

Update Scan2x

Open Scan2x 64bit application as an Administrator and login to Scan2x with an Admin user

Click on Admin Panel

Click on the Scan2x Web Installer Setup tab

Click on Launch new installation Wizard button

Click on Custom Installation

Click the Next button until you reach the Database Setup page. Connect to the Scan2xOnline Database with the 'sa' user and click Save.

Click the Next button until you reach the Scan2x Online Processor Engines page.Click on Update/Install button.

 

Once the external processors have been installed, the Scan2x Online Setup modal can be closed.

Click on the Apply Changes button from Admin Panel.

From the Web Installer Setup tab, click on the Update to latest version button, click Yes, and click Yes to take a backup of the previous files.

Once the updates have installed, click on the Apply Changes button.

 

Once the above steps have been carried out, open a new browser and login to Scan2x Web. Upload/Scan a document and the document should process accordingly.
