Administrator's Guide (Scan2x configuration)
The Administrator's Guide is intended for use by those who will set up Scan2x. It is not intended for use by non-technical users.
Users of the Administrator's Guide are expected to have a working knowledge of networking, Microsoft Active Directory, scanner settings and operating systems.
This part of the guide will describe the post-installation setup of the Scan2x environment and will run step-by-step through each part of configuring a scan job button for end-users to use. The Windows version of Scan2x is used both in a PC environment and to set up jobs and Scan2x behavior for MFDs, ScanFront 400 and web-based scanning.
Note: If one is planning on using Scan2x for processing, we recommend using the Scan2x 64bit version.
