Creating the Scan2x Windows .exe DebugMode Shortcut
If Scan2x is installed in a different directory, replace "C:\Program Files (x86)\Scan2x" with your directory in the below steps.
1.Create a shortcut of C:\Program Files (x86)\Scan2x\Scan2x_x64.exe on the Desktop. Copy it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Scan2x. Rename the file to Scan2x_DebugMode_x64.exe. Right click on the file and click Properties,
Navigate to the Shortcut tab, and in the Target textbox add the following to the end: /ADMIN (make sure there is a space after the last ")
2.Repeat step 1 for C:\Program Files (x86)\Scan2x\Scan2x.exe. Rename the shortcut to Scan2x_DebugMode.exe instead.
Please note: We recommend only using the Scan2x_DebugMode.exe or Scan2x_DebugMode_x64.exe when gathering debug logs to pass on to the Avantech team. Once the issue has been resolved, kindly revert to using the regular Scan2x.exe or Scan2x_x64.exe application. This is due to the fact that the debug logs created in the folder path C:\ProgramData\Scan2x\[Environment Number]\DEBUG_LOG when the Scan2x Debug Mode application is used will grow extensively and will start to take up a lot of space on the PC if used for a long period of time.
