SCLWebUpdater Issue when Updating Scan2x
If a user is making use of an old Scan2x windows - older than about version 3.0.1 and they get an error trying to update their Scan2x windows. They should follow these steps to make use of the new SCLWebUpdater.
Steps:
ØDownload the new Updater via this URL: https://connectsftp.scan2xonline.com/updates/Resources/Updater/SCLWebUpdater.zip
ØDelete the existing SCLWebUpdater folder aka : C:\Program Files (x86)\Scan2x\SCLWebUpdater
ØDelete this folder as well: C:\ProgramData\Scan2x\UpdateFiles\SCLWebUpdater
ØExtract the zip folder and copy the folder into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Scan2x
ØUnblock the folder using Powershell:
ØOpen Powershell as ADMIN and run this command:
dir -Path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Scan2x\SCLWebUpdater" -Recurse | Unblock-File
