Advanced Tools
In the Scan Preview screen, there are several Advanced Tools shown to the user, and their functions are described further below.
•Hand Tool - allows the user to use their mouse pointer to drag to move the page of the document up and down.
•Crop Page - allows the user to crop the page of the document scanned
•Select OCR - allows the user to select OCR to either fill in or override information in a metadata field.
•Zoom In - allows the user to zoom in to the document
•Zoom Out - allows the user to zoom out of the document
•Zoom Reset - resets the zoom to its default setting
•Fit Width - the scan preview screen fits until the width of the page for the user's view
•Fit Page - the scan preview screen fits whole page for the user's view
•Multi-page / Grid-view / Single-page button (please note Scan2x will use the last setting used as a default for the job. I.e., if a user finishes scanning with the option left as Grid-view, then the user the next day when scanning will see documents in Grid-view mode)
oMulti-page - allows users to see multiple pages of a document by scrolling
oGrid-view - allows the user to view the pages of documents in a grid view
oSingle-page - allows the user to see one page of a document at a time
•Rotate 90 degrees to the left - rotates a selected page/s 90 degrees to the left.
•Rotate 180 degrees - rotates a selected page/s 180 degrees

•Rotate 90 degrees to the right - rotates a selected page/s 90 degrees to the right.
•Move up - moves a page in a document up (for e.g., page 2 will become page 1).
•Move down - moves a page in a document down (for e.g., page 3 will become page 4).
•Delete Page - deletes a page in a document.
