Offline vs Online Queue

On the new Scan2x Online interface when using a Scan2x Hybrid environment, users are able to upload documents to an offline queue and manually sync them to the online queue, or upload documents directly to the online queue.

Please note: the ability to view both the online and offline queue is only available with the new Scan2x Online interface. In the case of Scan2x Hybrid, the Classic Scan2x Online interface will only view the offline queue.

The offline and online queue can be identified by the icon near the text Document Queue.

The grey cloud icon means the user is seeing and uploading to the offline queue.

The green cloud icon means the user is seeing and uploading to the online queue

The same cloud icons for the offline and online queue are also present for the document statuses (All, Draft, Processing, Warning, Error). This is for users to be able to view how many documents they have in their online and offline queue with ease.

Once a document has been uploaded to the offline queue and the user is satisfied with the metadata results, the user will then click the Sync Document button in order for the document to be pushed to the online queue.

A modal will appear showing a Success message and the document will disappear from the offline queue.

To check the document has successfully synced to the online queue, the user can click the cloud icon near the Document Queue text, and the icon will turn green and the page will refresh.

The online queue will then be shown with the latest document synced being shown at the top of the queue.

The user or a Queue Administrator can then proceed to manually save the documents as necessary.
