Why is IMAP Microsoft no longer supported?
Microsoft has disabled Basic Authentication for Exchange Online, including IMAP. This means Microsoft 365 mailboxes can no longer connect through the standard IMAP username/password setup used by Scan2x. This is a Microsoft security change and cannot be re-enabled by the customer or Microsoft support. Other IMAP providers that still support standard IMAP authentication remain supported.
