RabbitMQ Initialisation Error

 

 

When attempting to run a job and the above error appears or any other error relating to RabbitMQ, kindly follow the steps below:

 

1.Access Services and check whether RabbitMQ is running.

 

2.If the service is not running, kindly start the service. If it is already running, restart the service. Then, close Scan2x Windows, re-open it, and retry.

3.If the above steps do not work, or if you encouter an error when trying to start the service, please follow the instructions below, as your Erlang and RabbitMQ may have been corrupted.

4.Access your installed apps and uninstall Erlang OTP and RabbitMQ.

 

 

5.Proceed with cleaning any residual files from the installation. If any of the following processes are running, end them before continuing with the next steps.

 

Open Task Manager and search for the following processes:

Erlang

Erlsrv

Epmd

 

6.Delete Residual Installation Files:

oNavigate to C:\Program Files and delete the following folders:

Erlang OTP

RabbitMQ Server

7.Delete Additional RabbitMQ Files:

oRemove the following folders:

C:\Users{Your Username}\AppData\Roaming\RabbitMQ

C:\Program Files\RabbitMQ Server

8.Clean Registry Entries:

oOpen Registry Editor (regedit) and delete the following keys:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ericsson

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Ericsson

oRight-click on the Ericsson folder for each key and select Delete.

9.Reinstall Erlang OTP and RabbitMQ:

oNavigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Scan2x\Setup.

oRight-click on otp_win64_27.1.exe and select Run as Administrator.

oFollow the setup wizard using the default settings.

oOnce the Erlang installation is complete, right-click on rabbitmq-server-4.0.2.exe and select Run as Administrator.

oFollow the setup wizard to complete the installation.

10.Verify RabbitMQ Service:

Open Services and check if the RabbitMQ service is running.

If running, retry accessing Scan2x Win and attempt to upload/scan.

If the service is not running, proceed to the next step.

11.Manually Start RabbitMQ and Enable Plugins:

 

C:\Windows\System32\sc.exe start RabbitMQ

cd C:\Program Files\RabbitMQ Server\rabbitmq_server-4.0.2\sbin

rabbitmq-plugins enable rabbitmq_management

 

11.Restart Scan2x:

Close Scan2x Windows, reopen it, and retry.
