The Scan Preview Screen

 

Once a document is scanned or Upload & Edit was clicked when uploading a document, the following screen will appear. This is the Scan Preview screen.

Here, the user is shown the document scanned/uploaded in the centre of the screen, with all the relevant metadata appearing on the right-hand side of the screen.

Depending on how the scan job is configured, the user will be able to:

Edit Metadata or Reset Metadata from the right-hand panel

Add Common Metadata to the document batch scanned/uploaded.

Split and Merge documents from the advanced tools in the ribbon.

Save and Delete document/s.

Click Back to the Home Screen where the document will remain in the queue.

The user can see how many documents and pages have been uploaded/scanned at the bottom of the left-hand panel.

There are also two arrows at the top of the left hand-side of the screen in order to move between pages of the document.

 

If the tenant is set for documents to go directly to the queue after scanning/uploading, i.e., not showing the user the scan preview as shown above, or Upload & Send is clicked when uploading documents, then the user would need to access the document from the Documents Queue.
