Metadata can be described as being 'data about other data'. In the context of Scan2x, metadata can be described as being data about the document.
The user can insert fields in order to describe what information is going to be identified in the document.
Once fields are created, the user can click the 'Manage OCR Zones' in order to fill up the fields with the information required from the document.
This metadata can then be reset, moved, or copied from another job as seen at the bottom of the screenshot below.
